Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Pet Travel Requirements (operated by an individual residing in Israel) handles and why. We collect as little as possible.

1. Data we handle

• Planner inputs (origin, destination, species, flight date): processed in your browser and saved only in your browser's local storage so you can return to your timeline. They are not sent to our servers.
• Purchase data (name, email, billing country, payment details): collected and processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. We receive your name, email, order details and licence key; we never see full card numbers.
• Licence key: when you unlock a timeline, the key is sent to our validation endpoint and forwarded to Lemon Squeezy to check it. It is also stored in your browser's local storage.
• Technical logs: our hosting provider may process IP addresses and request logs for security and reliability.
• Waitlist / launch-list emails: if you join a route waitlist or a “launching soon” list, we store your email, the route, which option you chose (the personalized plan), the sign-up time and your approximate country (derived by our hosting provider from your connection, not stored as an IP address) in our hosting provider's key-value storage, only to tell you when it is available. Ask us any time to delete it; we delete entries once we have notified you of the launch, or after 24 months.
• Anonymous option counts: before launch, when you click one of the “launching soon” options we add one to a counter for that route and option (for example “US→UK, personalized plan: 12”). The counter contains no IP address, cookie, device identifier or other personal data and cannot be linked to you.
• Website analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors, to count page views in aggregate.
• Emails you send us (for example refund requests or data-error reports).

We do not use any cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

2. Why (legal bases under GDPR)

To send launch or waitlist emails you asked for (consent, which you can withdraw at any time), to provide what you bought (contract), to prevent fraud and keep the Service secure (legitimate interests), and to meet tax and accounting duties (legal obligation).

3. Processors

Lemon Squeezy (payments, tax, licence keys) and our hosting/CDN provider Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, key-value storage for waitlists and anonymous counters, cookieless web analytics). Data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States and Israel, with appropriate safeguards.

4. Retention

Order records are kept as long as tax law requires; emails you send us up to 24 months; browser data stays on your device until you clear it.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR or the California CCPA/CPRA), you may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Email support@pettravelrequirements.com.

6. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16.
